Baku Higher Oil School organized an open day event for students and their parents who met with rector Elmar Gasimov and were informed in detail about the school’s activities, mission and vision.

The rector told about the infrastructure and educational environment created with the support of SOCAR for ensuring quality education for students and noted the fact that in 2012-2013 academic year, BHOS got the first place in the national ranking of the universities developed by the State Students Admission Commission. He also stressed that the current infrastructure makes it possible for our school to compete with leading universities of the world. Accenting on integration of the theoretical and practical knowledge, Mr Gasimov said that the students take regular practical classes at various SOCAR premises, which in its turn, complements to the theoretical knowledge of students acquired during their studies.

Also, the parents had a chance to raise certain issues of concern and tackle them with the administration and faculty of the school.
