BHOS delegation visited Gilan Food Town
Technical visit to Gilan Food Town situated in Qabala was organized for the 2nd and 3rd year students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) studying in process automation engineering programme. BHOS Associate Professor and Dean of Engineering Faculty Zafar Gurbanov, head of BHOS Process Automation Engineering Department, Associate Professor Manafaddin Namazov, Associate Professor Leyla Muradkhanli and Senior Lecturer Abbas Alili also visited the said venue along with the students. During the visit BHOS delegation also visited tinned food factory, the center on production soft drinks, chips production factory. It should be noted that with 13 hectares area Qabala tinned food factory is the most developed tinned food factory in the South Caucasus. With the use of Europe’s lead Italian Padovan and Swedish Tetra Pak technologies the factory processes 300,000 tons of fruits per year. During technical visit, BHOS delegation was informed about factory’s activity and production line.
