Baku Higher Oil School joined Black Sea Universities Network
On November, 2013, Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) joined Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) following the review of its application by BSUN Executive Board which confirmed BHOS compliance with the BSUN Statue.
Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) was established in 1998, in the second conference of Black Sea Region Rectors held in Constantza (Romania) based on the recommendation of PABSEC Committee on Cultural, Education and Social Affairs with the aim of establishing scientific relations between universities.
BSUN 12 member countries (Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine etc) unite over 100 universities.
BSUN Membership of BHOS was confirmed by the official letter addressed to Elmar Gasimov, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School, by BSUN Secretary General Prof. Eden Mamut.
In the official letter, BSUN Secretariat expressed confidence that BHOS, which had great potential in the sphere of education and research, would make outstanding contributions to the organization.
