May 1, 60 students of BHOS will join ‘Baku Marathon 2016’ initiated by Haydar Aliyev Foundation. Along with other participants BHOS students will run 21 kilometers during marathon. Starting at the Flag Square the marathon will finish at Baku Olympic Stadium. The winner of the first place will get 3000 Azerbaijani manats, the runners-up will get 2000 manats and the third place winners will get 1000 manats.

It should be pointed out that the marathon mainly aims at support athletic life, popularize the healthy way of life amongst people especially amongst the youth and unite them for charitable purposes. The marathon itself is organized for charitable purpose.
