The meeting with the prospective students of ‘Kapaz’ education center of Ganja was held at BHOS. Head of BHOS engineering faculty Zafar Gurbanov, head of the department on students’ affairs Habiba Sadigli, head of public relations department Zeynab Kazimova joined the meeting.

 

Welcoming the guests head of BHOS students’ affairs department Habiba Sadigli showed them lecturing halls, laboratories, the model of new campus. She noticed that 17 winners of the Presidential scholarship selected BHOS underlining that with 81,39% BHOS maintained the leading position in terms of specialization selection by the prospective students. With these facts mentioned she proved that BHOS was the most attractive and prestigious higher educational institution and advised them to select it in future.

 

Opening the meeting head of BHOS public relations department Zeynab Kazimova made presentation informing the prospective students about BHOS. She mainly informed them about BHOS foundation history, activity directions, new campus, statistic information, minimum entrance points necessary to be admitted to BHOS, BHOS international relations, foreign companies and higher schools- BHOS partners, educational programmes, internal regulations, internship organized in local and transnational companies, organized workshops and other directions of BHOS activities. She also talked about BHOS official website and BHOS representation on social nets. Zeynab Kazimova pointed out that BHOS management offered excellent opportunities for students. Mrs. Kazimova drew attention of the guests to the works carried out by BHOS management at SOCAR structures and transnational companies functioning in Baku in order to ensure BHOS students’ future career.

 

Head of BHOS engineering faculty Zafar Gurbanov said that specialists’ training at BHOS was realized in line with the educational programme of Heriot Watt University, UK, emphasizing the transparency and objectivity in assessment of knowledge were ensured at BHOS. In turn he also advised prospective students to select BHOS. The meeting proceeded with question and answer session.

 

In conclusion teachers and prospective students said they were pleased to attend such a useful meeting and thanked BHOS management for its organization.
