BHOS student Arzu Abdullayeva: The way leading to success runs through challenges

Arzu Abdullayeva was born October 12, 1997 in Altay region of Russia. Her secondary education was started and completed at school N149 named after Elchin Shamiyev in Bina district of Baku. Always demonstrating serious approach towards studies during school years Arzu also took time for social activities. Starting from 2009 systematically attending school contests on various courses she took the first place at the physics contest held for Baku and Khazar region in 2013 and she became the fourth during national level contest being awarded honorary certificates. After finishing 11th grade with distinction Arzu gathered 690 entrance points during the entrance examination held by the State Students’ Admission Commission for Academic year 2015/16 and entered BHOS, chemical engineering specialization. Arzu is also the winner of the Presidential scholarship. During the interview Arzu responded to the questions related to the entrance examination, trial examination. She gave her advices to the prospective BHOS students on how to gather more than 600 points and what they should be guided by while doing specialization selection. Arzu also elaborated on her own selection of engineering specialization which was thought to be typical male one.
