Fardin Vatani: Hope that I cherish I get from the higher school I am studying in

Fardin Vatani was born April 29, 1988 in Ganja town. He started his secondary education at the school №39 named after Mir Jalal Pashayev in 2004 in his native town. During his school years Fardin was awarded honorary certificates. In 2010 while taking exams on general subjects at Ganja brunch of the Turkish lyceum Fardin became the first in Ganja and the eighth in Ganjabasar area. In addition he was awarded distinction certificate following 'Knowledge Contest' held in Ganja in 2014. In 2015 being the student of 11th form Fardin participated in school subjects' contest' on physics and won the first place referring to the west region phase. At the same time being the winner of area round of 'International Chemistry Contest' Fardin was the participant of the final of classification stage on Azerbaijan. Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov granted the honorary certificate to Fardin for his achievements in education and exemplary behavior. Apart from education Fardin Vatani is fond of sport. He was doing box, swimming and karate. Especially his success during exams held by Karate Federation of Azerbaijan in 2013 gaining the 7th degree according to the said sport should be mentioned. Having gathered 690 points at the entrance examination held by the State Students' Admission Commission (SSAC) for 2015/2016 academic years Fardin was admitted to study in the petroleum engineering programme at BHOS. He is also the winner of the Presidential scholarship.

 

- How the entrance examination was held? What were your impressions before and after exam?

- I studied hard before the entrance examination. The examination itself was organized very transparently at the highest level. I was not anxious at all. I felt happy when I learned that I gathered 690 points.

 

- What about the trial exams? Did you believe you could gather high points during the entrance examination?

- I gathered more than 600 points during trial exam and as soon as I learned that I gathered 667 at the final trial exam it became doubtless that I would show high results.

 

- Why did you select BHOS and this specialization and what kind of goals you've set?

- Engineering specializations always attracted me. High quality education at BHOS motivated me to select this higher school. In fact my parents also wanted me to do so as they also find BHOS very attractive educational institution.

 

- What should be done by prospective students to be admitted at BHOS?

- I would advise every student wishing to study at BHOS to uninterruptedly work on self-improvement. Education offered at BHOS is the best in Azerbaijan.

 

- What can you say about your future plans?

- I would like to continue my Master level education abroad and worthily represent Azerbaijan in foreign countries. I see myself as a highly qualified specialist serving my country. Hope that I cherish I get from the higher school I am studying in.

 

- What do you do at leisure time? Do you have hobbies?

- Frankly saying I have no free time and when I have I try to spend it doing sport. Even though now I am not doing it so often I prefer swimming.
