The workshop on ‘Completion quality and long-term well performance: case histories and the lessons learned’ was organized by BHOS section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) at BHOS. Ms. Maricel Marquez, representative of Houston-based office of Chevron conducted the said workshop. Ms. Marques has 12 year experience in the field of well completion and production operations, deposit exploitation, project managing and scientific research. Ms. Marquez studied chemical engineering at Oklahoma University on doctorate level. Born in the capital of Venezuela, Caracas, Marquez is the winner of several awards. She supports the activities of SPE being an active member of the Society of Women Engineers.

 

The workshop gathered around 100 students. Participants showed keen interest towards the workshop which was completed by questions and answers session.
