Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan and Rector of Budapest University of Technology and Economics visit Baku Higher Oil School
A delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Azerbaijan, Tamás József Torma, and Rector of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hassan Charaf, visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
First, the guests were introduced to the BHOS campus, its modern laboratories, and the university's infrastructure.
During the meeting with the delegation, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov provided detailed information about Baku Higher Oil School, the specialties taught at the university, and BHOS’s educational model. He emphasized that BHOS operates in close cooperation with industry and, at the same time, is a student-oriented higher education institution. The Rector also noted that several BHOS graduates pursued master's degrees at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and that Baku Higher Oil School is interested in expanding cooperation in this area.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Azerbaijan, Tamás József Torma, expressed satisfaction with his second visit to Baku Higher Oil School and expressed confidence that this meeting will bring fruitful results for both sides.
Rector of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hassan Charaf, highly praised the modern campus of Baku Higher Oil School, noting that the university he leads also operates in close cooperation with industry. Hassan Charaf emphasized that there are broad opportunities for collaboration between the two higher education institutions.
During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, scientific research, and student and faculty exchange were discussed.
