The representatives of the Congo National Oil Corporation visited Baku Higher Oil School

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR Elmar Gasimov met with a delegation from the National Petroleum Company of Congo (SNPC).
Five Congolese female students who had recently started their undergraduate studies at BHOS with the financial support of SNPC also participated in the meeting.
Rector Elmar Gasimov noted that as of the last academic year, Congolese students began studying at BHOS as part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between SOCAR and SNPC on April 4, 2024. He emphasized that these students were among the most exemplary ones. The rector expressed confidence that they would grow into professionals at BHOS and go on to work successfully not only in the oil and gas sector but also in other industrial spheres in Congo.
Roland Akenandey, head of the SNPC delegation, assistant to the company's president, highly praised the conditions created at Baku Higher Oil School and expressed confidence that the students studying at this university would develop as professionals.

He also noted that in the near future new groups of Congolese students would be sent to BHOS.
