BHOS graduates of 2025 work at SOCAR

In 2023, Gafar Gafarov entered the Business Administration Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

He graduated from the MBA program with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 89.

Currently, Gafar Gafarov heads the Public Relations and Communications Segment at SOCAR Capital LLC.

By the relevant order of SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor for his special contribution to the development of the oil and gas industry in the republic.

Successful experience in public relations and communications:

Gafar Gafarov began his professional career in 2011 as a public relations specialist at Petkim Petrochemical Holding.

From 2012 to 2016, he worked as Assistant to the First Vice President for Public Relations at SOCAR Turkey.

Gafar Gafarov took an active part in the organization and implementation of SOCAR’s mega-projects in Turkey, such as TANAP, STAR NEZ, SOCAR Terminal, Petkim RES, and SOCAR Fiber.

In addition, he participated actively in organizing and implementing PR and communications campaigns related to the issuing of SOCAR bonds in 2016, 2021, and 2025.
