BHOS and PETRONAS Technological University in Malaysia establish cooperation.

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR Elmar Gasimov met with a delegation consisting of representatives of the Embassy of Malaysia in the Republic of Azerbaijan and PETRONAS Technological University (PTU).

The meeting discussed issues of establishing academic cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Second Secretary of Malaysian Embassy Ms. Nurul Ain Mahammad Fadhil, Dean for Graduate Studies and Research of PTU Mr. Fadzil Hasan, Manager for Learning Strategy and Business Development of PTU Mr. Mahammad Azfar Bin Mahammad and Chief Executive Officer for Business Development and Academic Planning of PTU Mr. Mohd Faizal Bin Bidin.

PTU is a private research university owned by PETRONAS, a Malaysian transnational oil and gas corporation. In 2023, the university was ranked as the best university in Malaysia by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
