BHOS hosts opening ceremony of XIV Republican Project Contest ‘Scientists of Tomorrow’
The opening ceremony of the XIV Republican Project Contest "Scientists of Tomorrow" was held at Baku Higher Oil School.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Education, Project Director Fuad Garayev, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov, MP Jeyhun Mammadov, the winner of the gold medal of the XIII Republican Contest "Scientists of Tomorrow" Ibrahim Allahverdiyev. Speaking at the event, they emphasized that the contest provided an invaluable opportunity for students to showcase their potential and create new perspectives.
Then the guests got acquainted with the projects of the finalists.
The contest, hosted by Baku Higher Oil School, was organized by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Institute of Education, in partnership with the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the Heydar Aliyev Center and Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union Republican Committee.
During the next two days of the contest, the school students' research projects will be evaluated in nine directions.
The school students selected from among the winners will represent our country at the exhibition to be held in the United States.
