Baku Higher Oil School, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology discuss cooperation opportunities

An Uzbek delegation headed by Rector of Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Prof. Botir Usmonov has visited the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS).

During the tour of the university campus, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov provided the guests with detailed information about Baku Higher Oil School. The rector noted that “Baku Higher Oil School and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology are closely cooperating with each other, and this meeting is another successful step in this direction.”

In his turn, Rector of Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Prof. Botir Usmonov thanked Elmar Gasimov for the warm welcome. He highly appreciated the conditions created at Baku Higher Oil School. Botir Usmonov emphasized that “the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology should profit from Baku Higher Oil School’s experience.” The rector also invited BHOS students and employees to participate in the hackathon to be held in Uzbekistan in May this year.

At the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in such areas as the implementation of the Dual Diploma Master Program, the realization of student exchange programs, and the organization of summer schools.
