10 students of Baku Higher Oil School to undergo internship at SOCAR Turkey
10 second and third-year students of Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) will participate in the Summer Internship program of SOCAR Turkey. 7 of these students are majoring in Chemical Engineering, and 3 - in Process Automation Engineering.
BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov met with the students selected for the internship program.
The rector wished the students success and said that in the course of internship, they will acquire useful practical skills and get acquainted with the production process. Elmar Gasimov emphasized that this experience will help the students to become highly skilled professionals. The rector stressed that SOCAR Downstream and SOCAR Turkey always support BHOS students.
“They organize internships for our students and employ our graduates. I would like to thank the leaderships of SOCAR Downstream and SOCAR Turkey for this support”, Elmar Gasimov added.
Recruitment Supervisor at the Human Resources and Business Support Department of SOCAR Downstream Ulvi Gulushov also attended the meeting. He presented the BHOS leadership with the feedback on the results achieved by the students during their internship at SOCAR Downstream. Ulvi Gulushov also informed the students about the next stages of the internship program.
Note that this year's Summer Internship program of SOCAR Turkey consists of two parts. The students have completed the first part of the program at SOCAR Downstream.
