Rector of Baku Higher Oil School presented certificates to students who had completed the regular training program ‘Business Education for Engineers’
The Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) has successfully completed the regular training program "Business Education for Engineers", a joint project of BHOS and BP.
In this occasion, a ceremony of presentation of certificates to students who had successfully completed the program was held at Baku Higher Oil School.
Speaking at the event, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov talked about the role of the project, implemented jointly with the bp company, in helping young people determine their goals. The rector said that the participants of the "Business education for engineers" training program acquire knowledge, experience and skills that play an important role in their future careers and lives. Elmar Qasımov stressed that students should always be in search of knowledge and participate actively in various trainings and programs.
Rector Elmar Gasimov presented certificates to the students who had successfully completed the "Business education for engineers" training program.
After the ceremony, the students toured the BHOS campus and had tea-table discussions.
35 students, including from Baku Higher Oil School, Baku Engineering University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijani-French University, Baku State University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, took part in the project.
Engineering students from other universities in Azerbaijan can also benefit from this program.
The goal of this project is to develop leadership and management skills of engineering students, as well as to expand their career opportunities.
The three-week program consisted of 6 modules covering the most essential engineering skills.
