The first textbook on renewable energy by Elmar Gasimov and Rovshan Abbasov has been published in Azerbaijan

The book “An Introduction to Renewable Energy Sources” has been published in Azerbaijan. This is the first textbook on renewable energy issued in our country. 

The authors of the book are Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor Elmar Gasimov and PhD in Geographical Sciences Rovshan Abbasov.

The textbook, consisting of 8 chapters and 220 pages, was printed with the stamp of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The book, written in Azerbaijani, has separate chapters on solar, wind, geothermal, hydropower and hydrogen energy.

This textbook is a great contribution to the training of local renewable energy engineers.

The book, intended for a wide range of readers, will be provided free of charge to educational institutions.
