Students of Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR win ‘Huawei’ startup competition

Students of SOCAR's Baku Higher Oil School are among 11 finalists of the Tech4Good startup competition. They have been selected for the finals from 300 teams representing various universities around the world.

The students also won the 2nd place in the nomination “People's Choice”.

The Tech4Good startup competition is being held within the framework of the “Seeds for the Future” program implemented by the company Huawei in Azerbaijan.

The BHOS students participating in the international program had successfully completed the online training course "Seeds for the Future".

The "Emitless" team representing BHOS at the competition consists of the following members: Sultana Sultanova, a 4th-year students of Process Automation Engineering, Fidan Guliyeva, a 4th-year students of Process Automation Engineering, Roman Tolstosheyev, a 3rd-year student of Information Security.

The project presented by the team is about reducing carbon production.

Seeds for the Future is a flagship and long-term global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, launched worldwide by Huawei, a company operating in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
