Courses complete successfully at ITACA Training and Research Center of Baku Higher Oil School

The course on "Environmental restoration and sustainable oil and gas production" has completed at the Training and Research Center created on the campus of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) within the framework of the ITACA project. 

The modules of the course were developed by local and European partner universities. The participants of the course were selected by the coordinators of the project from Europe from among the candidates with master and PhD degrees who had applied to the open competition.

From the new academic year, the lessons of the course are conducted at BHOS by professors and teachers of both local and European partner universities.

Students who have successfully completed the course will have the opportunity to conduct research on selected topics for 3 months at the Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), Aalborg University (Denmark), the University of Granada (Spain) and the University of Patras (Greece).

The ITACA project is a grant project funded under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project of the European Council. The main goal of the project is to support the solution of existing environmental problems caused by the operation of the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan and to organize the teaching of the course on "Environmental restoration and sustainable oil and gas production"  at the 3rd stage of higher education.
