He is one of the 31 students of Baku Higher Oil School who were awarded the Presidential Scholarship.

Ziya graduated from Sumgait city Natural Sciences oriented Gymnasium with a gold medal.

He is the applicant who scored the highest score in the admission exams among the applicants from Sumgait city.

In the 10th and 11th grades, Ziya won the Republican Subject Olympiad in Mathematics.

Zia says that although the winners of the Subject Olympiads had the opportunity to enter the university out of competition, they had to take the entrance exams in order to study in their desired specialty and to be awarded the Presidential Scholarship.

“Today, technology is developing very fast. The main reason why I chose Baku Higher Oil School is that it is the best engineering university in Azerbaijan. BHOS provides high-quality education and has a modern material and technical base.”
