Huawei Technologies holds meeting at Baku Higher Oil School

Managers of the Chinese company “Huawei Technologies” Kang Jia and Eldaniz Aliyev have visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

The guests toured the university campus and met with BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov and students.

During the meeting, Elmar Gasimov provided Kang Jia and Eldaniz Aliyev with information about Baku Higher Oil School.  The rector said that BHOS trains highly qualified, English-speaking professionals, who are in great demand in the labor market.

“The students of our university are intellectual, educated and capable young people. We can proudly say that BHOS students always succeed in all the competitions they participate in. They also won the international competition organized by Huawei. We are very proud of this victory.”

Elmar Gasimov also touched upon the possibilities of cooperation between Baku Higher Oil School and Huawei. He said that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Huawei and BHOS, and that Huawei helped the university to set up a teaching laboratory in its campus. The rector emphasized that there are great prospects for joint cooperation in the future.

Manager of Huawei Technologies Kang Jia said that they attach importance to cooperation with Baku Higher Oil School. He noted that BHOS students are highly intelligent young people, who successfully participated Huawei’s project. Kang Jia informed the students about Huawei Technologies, the opportunities it provides for students, and future projects.

 At the end of the meeting, the guest answered the students’ questions.
