Winner of Republican Olympian and ‘Huawei’ competition: ‘I made the right decision in choosing Baku Higher Oil School’
Roman Tolstosheyev is one of the students who were admitted to Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) out of competition.
He has already completed his 2nd year at the Information Security Department of BHOS.
Roman is a member of the “9G” team, which won the “Tech4Good” competition organized by the “Huawei” company.
He was also awarded the “Huawei Seeds Of The Future Alumni” certificate and special gifts from the “Huawei” company for his excellent academic performance.
The students of the Process Automation Engineering Department Fidan Guliyeva and Sultana Sultanova and the student of the Petroleum Engineering Department Rahima Abbasova were also represented in the “9G” team.
90 students from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Cape Verde participated in the competition.
Roman Tolstosheyev was awarded silver and bronze medals at the Republican Subject Olympiads in 2017 and 2020. He also took the 3rd place in the 9th Republican Competition “Scientists of Tomorrow” in 2020.
