Baku Higher Oil School hosts meeting with graduates recruited by SOCAR

On May 24-26 of this year, SOCAR started recruitment of BHOS graduates in accordance with President Ilham Aliyev's instructions on the involvement of young people in the work of state institutions and private organizations.  

Various interviews were conducted in stages. As a result, the graduates who successfully passed the interviews received job offers from various enterprises of SOCAR. Thus, 31 out of 102 bachelor's degree graduates were employed.

First Vice-President and Acting President of SOCAR Rovshan Najaf met with these graduates in Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).  BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov greeted Rovshan Najaf at the university and provided him with information about the graduates and the educational process.

During the meeting, Rovshan Najaf spoke about the strategic goals such as energy transition, digitalization and innovation defined within SOCAR's Corporate Strategy until 2035.  He said that the potential, knowledge and skills of newly hired graduates will play an important role in ensuring a brighter future for the company. The acting president noted that in future, SOCAR plans to expand its recruitment project to other higher education institutions as well.  

At the end of the meeting, Rovshan Najaf gave recommendations to the newly hired graduates, wished them success in their activities and answered their questions.
