BHOS students undergoing summer internship

167 students of the Petroleum Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) are undergoing summer internship at the Bibiheybat Oil and Gas Production Department (OGPD), A.J. Amirov OGPD, Absheron OGPD and the Complex Drilling Works Trust of Azneft Production Union. Another group of BHOS students majoring in Petroleum Engineering has started doing internship at large oil and gas companies such as bp and Halliburton. 

Summer internships last for one month. During summer internships, students familiarize themselves with the work process in enterprises, the operation of equipment, including equipment control systems, and technological processes. They also have the opportunity to work with professionals and benefit from their work experience.

It should be noted that a student from Katip Celebi University (Turkey) is also undergoing summer internship under the ERASMUS+ program.

BHOS students participate in summer internship programs every year. The main purpose of summer internship is to create conditions for students to enrich the theoretical foundations of the subjects they have studied throughout the year with the knowledge gained from experience.
