BHOS student wins medal at ‘Golden Shah’ championship

Yagut Shakizade, a student of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), has won a silver medal at the national culinary championship (Azerbaijan Culinary Specialists Association - Chefs.Az). She was a member of one of the three teams representing WorldSkills Azerbaijan at the competition.18 teams under the age of 25 participated in the championship.

Yagut Shakizade is a 5th year student of the Process Automation Engineering Department of BHOS.

The judges of the World Association of Chefs' Societies awarded a silver medal to Yagut Shakizade and her team for the professionalism and distinctive style they displayed at the competition.

The process of preparation for the competition was conducted by the CÀSÀ Culinary Center.

This championship is the first competition in which the team represented by Yagut Shakizade took part before the competition in Shanghai. The State Agency on Vocational Education cooperates with CÀSÀ BAKU in preparing the team for the competition.

The members of the WorldSkills Azerbaijan’s culinary team won 2 gold, 2 silver medals and the Winners' Cup at the competition.
