Two teams of SOCAR's Baku Higher Oil School take first places in Teknofest

The Istiglal team of SOCAR's Baku Higher Oil School has won the Cansat Model Satellite competition, which was held as part of Teknofest, Turkey's largest aerospace and technology festival, held for the first time in Baku. The team successfully launched its satellite model in the final round of the competition and took first place.

The Istiglal team consists of five BHOS students majoring in Process Automation Engineering. The mentor of the team is Ramil Shukurov, a graduate of Baku Higher Oil School, who currently works as a teacher at BHOS.

The Ateshgah team of Baku Higher Oil School also became a winner at Teknofest.

The members of the team, which won the Green Technologies competition, are three BHOS students majoring in Chemical Engineering. The mentor of the team is Murad Rahimov, a graduate of Baku Higher Oil School.
