Winners of photo and drawing competition awarded
Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) has hosted a ceremony of awarding the winners of a photo and drawing competition titled “To you, humanity”, which was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of BHOS.
Speaking at the ceremony, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov wished the students success. The rector said, “It is gratifying that BHOS students, along with being highly qualified specialists, also possess creative abilities. Our students are all-round young people. They are also an example of Azerbaijani youth. While representing Azerbaijan abroad, BHOS students show that our young people have high standard knowledge and creative abilities”.
A total of 80 photos and 16 paintings were submitted to the competition, which was organized by the Student Youth Organization of Baku Higher Oil School. Based on the jury's evaluation, the winners were determined in several categories.
The winners in the category "BHOS in the camera’s focus" were students majoring in Oil and Gas Engineering. Fourth-year student Surayya Yusifova won the first place. Third-year students Gulustan Karimova and Mirnijat Jabbarli took the second and third places, respectively.
In category “Free subject”, the first place was awarded to the fourth-year student of the Process Automation Engineering Department Anar Aliyev. The second place was taken by the third-year student of the Process Automation Engineering Department Famil Hashimov. The second-year student of the Chemical Engineering Department Firangiz Suleymanova took the third place.
In the category "Nature", the first place was won by the fourth-year student of the Chemical Engineering Department Rasul Musayev. The second place was taken by the fifth-year student of the Automation Engineering Department Mujgan Huseynli. The master student of the Petroleum Engineering Department Ali Aliyev took the third place.
The winner in the category "Colorful" of the drawing competition was the fifth-year student of the Chemical Engineering Department Peri Habibova. The second-year student of the Petroleum Engineering Department Shumeysa Gardashova became the winner in the category "White and black" of this competition.
The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts.
