Baku Higher Oil School hosts swimming competition
A swimming competition has been held between local and foreign students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). Students of Yugra State University and Kazakh-British Technical University studying at Baku Higher Oil School within the exchange program and BHOS students majoring in Chemistry, Petroleum and Process Automation Engineering competed in the swimming competition.
The winner of the competition was a team consisting of BHOS students majoring in Chemistry and Petroleum Engineering. The members of the winning team were Aykhan Asgharzadeh and Javahir Yusifzade, 2nd-year students of the Chemical Engineering Department, Fatima Mammadova, 3-rd year student of the Chemical Engineering Department, and Yusif Abasov, 3-rd year student of the Petroleum Engineering Department.
The students studying under the exchange program took the second place. The members of this team were 5th-year students of Kazakh-British Technical University Ademi Kaliyakbarova, Aigerim Zhumanalina, Madina Tulegenova and 4th-year student of Kazakh-British Technical University Leila Kenzhebayeva.
In general, among the girls who showed good results were students of the Chemical Engineering Department Fatima Mammadova, Javahir Yusifzade and Kazakh student Madina Tulegenova.
Among the boys who showed good results were 3rd year student of the Petroleum Engineering Department Yusif Abasov, 3rd year student of the Process Automation Engineering Department Khayal Hasanli, and Dinis Khamiddulin, a student of Yugra State University who is studying at BHOS under the exchange program.
