Associate Professor of Baku Higher Oil School visits Middle East Technical University in Turkey

Kamala Pashayeva, an associate professor at the Process Automation Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), has been on a business trip to the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Turkey.

The visit was made within the framework of the project “Professional Development of Educators and Study of International Experience in the Field of Human-Computer Interaction”, which is being implemented by Nakhchivan University, a winner of the grant competition “Development of Higher and Secondary Special Education in 2021/2022” launched by the Ministry of Education.

During the week-long trip, acquaintance tours and presentations were made on the history, infrastructure, research centers, techno-park, techno-village, laboratories and studios of METU, and various meetings were held.

At the end of the trip, Project Expert, Prof. Kurshat Cagiltay had a final discussion with the project participants. Also, different cooperation prospects, presentation of the professor's book "Human-Computer Interaction and Applicability Engineering" to be translated into Azerbaijani within the project, and holding a joint international conference on the study of human-computer interfaces were discussed.

On the last day of the visit, the graves of the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and one of the founders of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the Chairman of the National Council, Muhammad Amin Rasulzadeh, were visited.
