Baku Higher Oil School holds regular meeting of its Academic Board
Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) has held an extended meeting of its Academic Board.
Opening the meeting, BHOS Rector, Chairman of the Academic Board Elmar Gasimov greeted the members of the Board and drew the participants’ attention to the issues on the agenda.
Speaking at the meeting, BHOS Vice-Rector for Training and Science Zafar Gurbanov announced the approval of the BHOS Strategic Development Plan for 2022-2027 and the Quality Assurance Policy.
The meeting also heard reports and exchanged views on issues related to the approval of the curriculum for the specialty "Computer Engineering", payment for accommodation in the Student House located on the territory of the BHOS Campus, approval of the rules for organizing exams, and improving the procedure for holding examination appeals.
The meeting also featured various presentations on staffing and other current issues. The participants exchanged views on the presentations they had heard.
One of the issues discussed was the provision of textbooks for students. At the meeting, decisions were made on the work to be carried out in this direction.
At the end of the meeting, a unanimous decision was made by a general vote on the issues discussed.
