BHOS students to join Teknofest
Students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) will take part in Teknofest, Turkey's largest airspace and technology festival. The teams that will take part in seven competitions in the second stage of the festival have already been identified. 11 out of 16 BHOS teams that applied for participation in the competition on "Green Technologies", 5 out of 7 BHOS teams that applied for participation in the competition on "Agrarian technologies", 2 teams – the competition on "Robotics", 2 out of 3 teams – the competition on “Unmanned aerial vehicles", 4 out of 6 teams – “Socially oriented technologies”, 2 teams – "Cansat", 2 out of 3 teams – “Bakuskills” will participate in the next stage of the competition. In total, 25 teams representing Baku Higher Oil School have qualified for the next stage.
It should be noted that three teams representing BHOS will participate in the next stage of 2 different competitions. They are “Agrarian Technologies” and "Hakari" on "Socially Oriented Technologies", "Green Technologies" and “Khazri" on "Agrarian Technologies", ""Robotechnika" and "Mubariz" on "Cansat". The results of 1 of the 8 competitions are still unknown. The “Oguz” team representing BHOS will compete in “Planer”.
The Teknofest festival to be held in Baku in May has been organized annually by the Turkish Technology Team (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey since 2018. The fact that Teknofest, Turkey’s largest aerospace and technology festival, will be held for the first time outside Turkey in Azerbaijan once again testifies to the friendly, fraternal and strategic alliance existing between the two countries.
