Students of Petroleum Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School have been selected for the Erasmus+ program for the first time
Students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) majoring in Oil and Gas Engineering will participate in the Erasmus+ student exchange program for the first time. Within the framework of this program, 4th year students of the Petroleum Engineering Department of BHOS Ruslan Alguliyev, Shamsi Mursalli, Vahid Ismayilzade and Rashad Suleymanov will study at İzmir Katip Çelebi University in Turkey for one semester.
Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov met with the students on this occasion.
Congratulating them, the rector said that it was gratifying that for the first time in the framework of the Erasmus+ student exchange program, places had been allocated for the “Oil & Gas Engineering” specialty.
“Baku Higher Oil School continues to successfully cooperate with a number of European universities on the Erasmus+ student exchange program. Thanks to this cooperation, several of our students have studied and are studying at prestigious European universities. It is gratifying that İzmir Katip Çelebi University, a university of the fraternal country, has joined the ranks of higher education institutions with which we cooperate. Also, for the first time, students majoring in Oil & Gas Engineering have got the opportunity to participate in the program. This makes us very happy. We believe that participation in this program will open a new page in the lives of students, will allow them to enrich their minds and develop their communication skills”.
Emphasizing that the students are representatives of Azerbaijan and Baku Higher Oil School, the rector advised them to represent honorably their country abroad.
The students thanked the rector, faculty and the employees of BHOS Erasmus+ Office for the created conditions, and stressed that they would honorably represent Azerbaijan and BHOS.
