BHOS graduate who participated in the Erasmus+ program: ‘I gained a great experience’
Thanks to Baku Higher Oil School’s successful cooperation with a number of European universities, dozens of students have joined the Erasmus+ student exchange program.
One of our students who benefited from the Erasmus+ exchange program is Sakina Nagizade. Sakina is a 2021 graduate of the Process Automation Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School. She currently works for BP.
Sakina studied at the University of Alcala in Madrid (Spain) during the 2019 spring semester within the framework of Erasmus+ program. Sakina says that thanks to the program, she gained a great experience and familiarized herself with different environments, cultures and people.
“Participation in the program stimulated me to discover myself and to form ideas about what I could do as an individual. I enjoyed talking to people from different cultures and getting to know their mindsets. The most spectacular part of Erasmus was our travels to many beautiful European countries and cities”.
Sakina also promoted our country at the university where she studied. She participated in several events organized by Azerbaijan in its embassy in Spain. Sakina also organised an event dedicated to May 28 - Republic Day with the participation of the university’s teachers and students and acquainted them with the cuisine, art, music and history of Azerbaijan.
