BHOS students to participate in another successful program

Students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) have been admitted to the “SABAH.lab Acceleration Center” program. The program is organized in cooperation with the IE Business School, which ranks 1st in Europe in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Category, and the Ministry of Education.

BHOS students Huseyn Abizadeh and Farhad Agayev, who had earlier completed successfully the “Azerbaijan 500 ASAN Startup” program, became eligible to participate as a team in the “SABAH.lab Acceleration” program. 10 teams were selected from more than 460 individual and more than 170 group applications to participate in the program.

Several professors and industry leaders from local and international universities, including Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, IE Business School, will participate in the six-month program.

SABAH.lab was launched with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The main goal of SABAH.lab is to lay the foundation for innovation in Azerbaijan and the region, to create a competitive ecosystem in the country to stimulate economic development, and to raise the spirit of entrepreneurship.
