Prof. Rena Mustafayeva Co-Authors a Book

Prof. Rena Mustafayeva, Dr.Sc.Chem, Head of Postgraduate Education Department of Baku Higher Oil School, co-authored the recently issued book on Catalytic Systems in Alkyl Aromatics Transformation.

Four out of the total five chapters in the book present the results of the scientific research on application of catalytic systems in aromatic hydrocarbon transformation and monomer obtaining processes conducted by Azerbaijani scientists. The fifth chapter describes the results of the research and experiments on the development of catalytic systems for alkene oligomerization to obtain synthetic lubricant base, as well as aromatic hydrocarbon and oligomerization products alkylation. Moreover, the book includes 60 figures and 87 tables.

It should be noted that this scientific publication is a targeted at lecturers, students, as well as scholars and researchers engaged in catalysis and catalytic systems synthesis and obtaining technologies applied in diverse processes.

It is worth to note that Prof. Mustafayeva, the author of about 90 research papers, a monograph, three teaching materials and holder of 3 patents, has long been engaged in science serving as an engineer, junior scholar and scholar at various research institutes conducting research in two level alkylation of toluene with methanol, design of effective zeolite catalysts for generating styrole and ethylbenzene, as well as design of polyfunctional catalysts for processing pirocondensate and other aromatic condensates.
