Baku Higher Oil School through the eyes of our foreign students

Ali Hasnain Meeran comes from Lahore, the second-largest city in Pakistan. He is a 4th-year student of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) majoring in Petroleum Engineering.

The Pakistani student describes student life at Baku Higher Oil School in three words: family, individual approach, and fun.

"I say family because everyone here is like a family, students know each other well, everyone is very kind to each other. Many BHOS graduates say they have found a second family here. This university offers so many options for students that they can find here what they are looking for. There is also much fun here. Campus life is very interesting.”

He says that studying at BHOS has lifelong benefits, such as gaining knowledge and skills and expanding social circle.

“Along with teaching students essential knowledge and skills, BHOS helps them find meaning and purpose in life. This university not only gives students the opportunity to get a degree but also offers them greater advantages. Here everyone is benefiting from each other. There is a lot of volunteer work at BHOS, which makes me more productive in my free time. This is what makes the BHOS community so strong. Everyone here believes in unity."
