BHOS students made presentations on summer internship they took at various industry objects in the course of two months. Presentations were made in the presence of BHOS rector Elmar Gasimov, vice-rector for general affairs Rashad Hasanov, head of petroleum engineering department Arif Mammadzade, head of chemistry engineering department Sevda Fatullayeva, head of quality assurance department Samira Musayeva, representatives of departments as well as specialists of various transnational companies.

 

Thus, BHOS second and third year students studying petroleum engineering and chemistry engineering took internship at various structures of SOCAR - SOCAR UPSTREAM Management, “Neft Dashlari” (Oil Rocks), “28 May”, as well as “Azerikimiya” enterprise, “Halliburton”, BP and other transnational international companies between 13 July-30 August and 6 July – 31 August. In addition BHOS 10 third year students studying chemistry engineering took internship at Petkim company, Izmir, Turkey between July 1-24 and 26 July and 14 August.

 

BHOS second year students studying computer and information communication technologies took internship at 5 companies – Control Dimension Devises and Automation, Emerson Process Management, Schneider Electric, AVANDSIS GROUP, Atenau LTD between 1 July and 15 August.

 

During presentations students shared with their views, impressions and knowledge they gained during internship period at industry objects.

 

Every year BHOS students take internship at various transnational companies which cooperate with BHOS. Within this period students are able to apply theoretical knowledge they gain during academic year in practice thus improving their specialization background.

 

It should be mentioned that started 31 August presentation making will last till 11 September.
