Congratulations of the Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov on the occasion of December 31 - the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year
Dear friends and BHOS family,
The outgoing 2021 year has been full of significant events taking place in the world and our country. This year, our country celebrated the first anniversary of the Great Victory - the first Victory Day - won by the heroic Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev in the struggle for the liberation of our occupied lands.
2021 will be a historic and unforgettable year for Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). This year, BHOS celebrated its first 10th anniversary. Over the past 10 years, Baku Higher Oil School has become the most prestigious higher education institution in the country and has introduced a number of groundbreaking innovations in the history of Azerbaijani education. During this period, Baku Higher Oil School has successfully continued fulfilling its mission of training highly-qualified, professional and highly intellectual personnel in accordance with the motto of President Ilham Aliyev “We must turn oil capital into human capital!”
In 2021, BHOS has become one of the universities in Azerbaijan that achieved the highest level of competitiveness and the best results in the country's education system. It is a great honor and pride for us that 33 out of the 102 students who have been awarded Presidential Scholarships in the country this year are studying at our university. Thus, BHOS has set another record in the history of Azerbaijani education in terms of the number of Presidential Scholars.
Each of you has made an invaluable contribution to these successes. Thank you for your solidarity and professionalism. I wish you to achieve new joint successes. I congratulate you and your families on the upcoming Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year, and wish each of you good health, happiness and prosperity!
