Information Security Center to be established at Baku Higher Oil School

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has met with the leadership of SOCAR's Information Technology and Communications Department. It was noted at the meeting that the Department had been providing services to the BHOS since 2012. The meeting participants discussed cooperation opportunities.

BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov spoke about the development of Baku Higher Oil School over the past 10 years and plans for the future. He said that an Information Security Center would be established at the university in the future. During the meeting, it was decided to jointly implement the training and production process in this field. Head of the Information Technology and Communications Department Ilham Aslanov offered Elmar Gasimov to exchange specialists and involve students in the projects. The Rector of Baku Higher Oil School gave relevant instructions in this regard. He said that it would be useful to create new applications and mobile solutions as a result of cooperation.
