BHOS graduate sets record by entering 14 universities

A graduate of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) has set a record for Azerbaijan.

Zahir Agayev, a graduate of the Chemical Engineering Department of BHOS, was admitted to 14 world-renowned universities. He was accepted into 13 of the 15 universities in the United States to which he had applied. 7 of these universities offered Zahir Agayev a full scholarship. Four of the universities offered him a scholarship for doctoral studies, which is a very high indicator for a bachelor degree graduate.

Although Zahir Agayev passed the initial entrance exams for several other universities, he refused to participate in the final stages of admittance procedures because he had already achieved such high results.

Zahir Agayev chose to study at the University of Connecticut in the US.

It should be noted that Zahir Agayev scored 650 points in the entrance exam held by the State Examination Centre in 2016 and was admitted to the Chemical Engineering Department of BHOS. He graduated from the university with the GPA of 91.09.
