President of China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Chairman of the General Assembly of the Worldwide Energy University Network (WEUN), Prof. Zhang Laibin, sent a thank-you letter to Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), Elmar Gasimov.              

 

In his letter, Mr. Zhang Laibin noted the high level of participation of BHOS students in the  6^th “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, organized by the Worldwide Energy University Network (WEUN). He stressed in the letter that the support given to the students was critical to their success.

 

Congratulating the students who won silver and bronze medals at the competition, the professor emphasized that despite all the difficulties that the students faced during the competition, such as time difference, intense rivalry, physiological and psychological stress, they achieved high results.

 

“The achievements of your students are highly appreciated by the Committee, and I believe that the experience they have gained is more valuable than the awards. Next year, the WEUN will provide its member universities with a wide range of opportunities, including a series of seminars, webinars and student competitions. We are looking forward to the active participation of your university in these events," Zhang Laibin noted.
