An article written by associate professor and student of Baku Higher Oil School has been published in an international journal

Elsevier has published in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy an article written by a fifth-year student of the Chemical Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School Nurlan Amirov together with Associate Professor of the same department Amir Reza Vakhshuri.

The article titled “Modeling and optimization of product selectivity and catalyst activity in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis via response surface methodology: Cobalt carbide particle size and H2/CO ratio effects” was published on November 13, 2020.

The main topic of the article is the investigation of the effect of cobalt carbide particle size on product selectivity and catalyst activity in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis using statistical modeling, as well as the search for optimal conditions for increasing catalyst activity and the selectivity of the desired hydrocarbon fraction.

Note that the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy is the official journal of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE). The Journal aims to provide a central vehicle for the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, technology developments and research results in the field of Hydrogen Energy between scientists and engineers throughout the world. The Impact Factor of the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy was 4.939 in 2019.
