Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov expressed gratitude to President of Eurasian Universities Union prof. Mustafa Aydin and Rector of the UK’s Heriot-Watt University prof. Richard Williams for the support they showed to Azerbaijan in its struggle to liberate Karabakh.

 

Calling the liberation of Karabakh from the 30-year occupation a Great Victory, the rector noted that the Azerbaijani Government is committed to restore lasting peace and order in the region through the radical solution of this problem.

 

Elmar Gasimov emphasized the importance of cooperation of Baku Higher Oil School with both  Eurasian Universities Union and Heriot-Watt University. He expressed hope that in the future, Baku Higher Oil School, Eurasian Universities Union and Heriot-Watt University will continue to implement new joint projects and programs within the framework of this cooperation.

 

Note that during the Patriotic War, Mustafa Aydin and Richard Williams sent a letter to Baku Higher Oil School in which they expressed their support to Azerbaijan in its righteous struggle to restore its territorial integrity.
