Baku Higher Oil School completes Business education for engineers program

Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) has successfully completed the regular training program "Business Education for Engineers", which is a joint project of BHOS and BP.

 

Students from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, French-Azerbaijani University, Baku Engineering University, ADA University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Baku State University, Khazar University, and the National Aviation Academy participated actively in the trainings. Representatives of the Middle East Technical University of the Republic of Turkey and Heriot Watt University of Great Britain also took part in the trainings.

 

Note that the training program “Business Education for Engineers” consists of the following modules: Presentation and Communication Skills, Project Management, Time Management and Efficiency, Leadership, Risk Management, Introduction to Finance, Budget and Cost Control, HR Management Fundamentals, and Negotiation Skills.

 

The program was attended by 4th and 5th year students of Baku Higher Oil School, as well as 3rd and 4th year students of other universities who study at engineering departments and have a high level of English proficiency. A total of 395 students took part in the trainings.

 

The participants who had successfully completed the training program “Business education for engineers” received joint Certificates of Attainment from BP and BHOS.
