What is your impression of the entrance exams?

I was not worried. I relied on my knowledge. I did not like to spend much time on lessons. It’s just that my memory and intuition helped me in the entrance exams. On the day of the entrance exam, the temperature in the room was high. The exam was held on the lower floor so the windows of the room were closed to eliminate ambient noise. This was the cause of the high temperature. I graduated from the Russian sector and, therefore, the final exams was held in Russian language. The open questions in Russian were very difficult. As to the other subjects, I did not answer only one question on physics.

Why did you choose this speciality?

My grandfather worked in an oil company for many years, so I showed great interest in this profession. I chose the speciality "Process Automation Engineering" because I think that this is the best profession of the future.

The BHOS provides solid knowledge. The school gives great prospects for the future. I have a chance to make a good career. BHOS graduates are provided with jobs in well-known multinational companies that are partners of Baku Higher Oil School. The opportunity to study with high score students was an additional motivation for me. When everyone is on the same level, competition becomes more intense.

How did you achieve your goal to enter Baku Higher Oil School?

I listened carefully to my teachers. I did not have much difficulty in learning, and I did not spend much time on homework. However, what I was taught at school helped me.

What can you say about the role of your family in your education?

My family respected my choice and supported me. As I said, in my family I became the successor of my grandfather, who was an oilman. My family and my relatives welcomed my decision to become a student of Baku Higher Oil School.

What do you want more than anything else in life?

I have more goals than dreams. I want to improve my professional skills by continuing my education abroad. I want to study for a master’s degree at one of foreign universities.

            What is your hobby?

I like doing different sport activities and reading essays.

Do you take interest in any field other than Process Automation Engineering?

I do sports. Since the age of six, I have been playing chess at a professional level. I have participated as a team captain in international competitions, and I have achieved the first degree in chess. Our school took first place in the Republican Chess Championship. My favorite chess player is Magnus Carlsen. I also like playing football very much. I had to interrupt for a while sports activities because of my studies. I am very interested in legal science. I wanted to be a lawyer in my childhood. I even remember by heart the constitution of Russia, where I spent my childhood.

What book genre do you like the most?
