First Vice-President of Gazprombank Igor Turuev conducts master class at Baku Higher Oil School
Within the framework of the “Professional Business Talks” sessions organized by the Business Administration Training Center, First Vice-President and Head of the Internal Audit Department of Gazprombank Igor Turuev held a master class on the topic of “Innovative technologies and new products in the international banking system” for Master's degree students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
During the master class, Igor Turuev, who has 20 years of experience in the banking sector, told BHOS students about people’s attitude towards the bank and new trends in the international banking system. He said that the traditional banking concept is now being replaced with the digital banking concept.
Speaking about the importance of innovative technologies for modern banks, Igor Turuev told students about the methods of finding customers for digital banks, the need for existence of such banks, the concept of innovative banking services and products, the positive aspects of using innovative technologies in banks and the risks associated with their use.
“Today, when the Internet is increasingly entering our life, we are witnessing how the whole business is switching to online. And the banking system is no exception in this regard. People now prefer to do everything online in order to more rationally manage their time. The lag in the implementation of innovative technologies in the age of active use of the Internet and smartphones leads to the loss of customers. Today, banks are compelled to recognize and satisfy the needs of modern clients,” he said.
At the end of the event, Igor Turuev answered the students’ questions and expressed gratitude to Rector Elmar Gasimov for the conditions created at the BHOS for holding the master class.
