New MBA programme on dual diplomas in Baku Higher Oil School

         New MBA programme on dual diplomas encompassing petroleum management will be realized for the first time in Azerbaijan. Academic programme is based on the cooperation agreement recently signed between Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and Geneva Business School (GBS). Students’ recruitment for the said programme will start in September 2019 and upon completion of it they will be awarded diplomas of both higher educational institutions.

 

         Following rector of BHOS Elmar Gasimov new courses are going to be introduced within the frames of new programme: “Students of our higher school will enjoy the opportunity to study in English language accordingly to the programme of one of the most prestigious business schools – GBS. Knowledge they will gain accordingly to the programme and dual diplomas will enable them to land a job in the leading companies”. Rector of Geneva Business School campus Mark Hatton underlined that the Academic programme is being updated in line with the requirements of the business world and they do their best to train students as managers for the business world and their grasping the business. “If on bachelor level we focus on specialization courses, on Master level along with detailed study of the specialization in question we do focus on social skills, leadership, strategic analysis and practical use of knowledge in business”.

 

           In frames of new academic programme MBA on petroleum management students will be taught such courses as petroleum trading, digital management, blockchain management etc.
