Elmar Gasimov, rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) welcomed the delegation led by Yashar Latifov, Executive Director of SOCAR UPSTREAM Management International LLC. Mutual collaboration opportunities and the issues concerning the development of the cooperation links between the institutions were the main discussion topics of the meeting. Rector Elmar Gasimov and the Excetuvie director of the company, Yashar Latifov signed a Cooperation Agreement aimed at taking the necessary logistical, scientific and methodological as well as organizational measures in order to train highly-qualified specialists at BHOS.

To this end, the parties will collaborate in below areas: organizing lectures for BHOS students by the company experts and involving the experts in the teaching process, facilitating practical experience for BHOS students at various company premises, assisting in career development of BHOS alumni, organizing summer internships and trainings for BHOS students, joint organization of workshops and etc.
