Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and SOCAR-AQS LLC signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The signing ceremony was attended by BHOS administration, Ramin Isayev, the general director of SOCAR-AQS LLC and some representatives, as well as the faculty and students of BHOS.

Elmar Gasimov, rector of BHOS welcomed the guests and extended his pleasure of the cooperation. Mentioning the role of the agreement in the training of highfly specialists in petroleum engineering, the rector added that it would pave the way for practice and future career opportunities for the students. Taking the stage, Ramin Isayev briefed about the company, it’s activities and assured that the current cooperation would be of great chances for the students in the future. The speech ended with the signing of the collaboration agreement.

Afterwards representatives of the company met with the 2nd and 3rd year students and held the selection procedure of 2 month paid summer internship program.

The signed agreement aims at taking the necessary logistical, scientific and methodological as well as organizational measures in order to train highly-qualified specialists in Petroleum Engineering at BHOS. It will create the collaboration environment in the mainly spheres as the involvement of the company experts in the teaching procedures, organization of workshops for BHOS students on topics which fall within the scope of the business activities of SOCAR-AQS, the internship and career offers for BHOS students and graduates and others.
