Psychological service at BHOS helps students
Psychological support service set up at Baku Higher Oil School is aimed at work with those undergraduates who experience emotional, communications and other personal problems. It shall also help them face challenges they may meet in the course of the study. Group sessions for the BHOS Foundation students are conducted by professional psychologist Leyla Gasimova. At the informal lessons, the undergraduates learn how to understand themselves, recognize their strong and weak points, and develop skills to adapt to the new environment and conditions.
The new service also provides support to the senior students. During the individual consultations, young people share their problems and concerns, and receive professional advice from the psychologist regarding their studies, personal life and relations with teachers and classmates.
Leyla Gasimova graduated from the Psychology School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Khazar University. She was a participant of Bridge Fellowship 2017 in Georgia and organizer of two International Psychological conferences at the university. Leyla has a number of professional certificates.
